The Noma pony is a critically endangered Japanese breed of small horse (pony in ABC) from the island of Shikoku and is named for the former district of Noma, in the northern part of what is now the Ehime Prefecture.
You will notice this fantastic little pony has its face decorated!
Kumadori is makeup used for theatrical performances, specifically, Kabuki — a stylized form of Japanese theater, which is known for its spectacular drama and the makeup worn by the actors. Kabuki makeup emphasizes the actors’ underlying muscles and veins to evoke dramatic emotions and expressions. Breed your kabuki ponies to see what masks you can find!
