The participants need to have the focus and determination to go through the trials and tribulations to breed that phenomenal horse. A key component is finding the right jockey with the right chemistry with the horse… form a bond. Finding the right combination for that last push to go over the finish line first.

At the finish line Coldfells Funny Valentine (Jockey: BeauRiver Resident) crossed the finish line a couple of horse lengths ahead of the field. Owner Lanz134 Resident was elated at the win. He is not only a race horse owner but also a jockey with many achievements in racing. As a veteran jockey and an owner, he has a unique perspective for what it takes to win a Crown Cup!
ABC – Awesome Breed Creations Owners, Stephanie Merrienboer and Darcul Bellic presented the trophy and ribbons to the winners. They proudly congratulate the winner and qualifiers.
The ABC Race Program is very robust and intricate and took many hours to customize. It is an on going process to keep this program running smoothly. The ABC Staff and Race Authority are passionate about maintaining and continuing the legacy and vision of the owners. With every successful crown cup, the owners see their diligence was worth the effort.
We would like to extend our congratulations to all the qualifiers with additional accolades to the Place and Show winners.

The ABC track conditions were ideal for a spring race – dry – smooth – and no weather. It was a fast track. There was a field of hats in the grandstands, everyone dressed for the sunny warm spring day as anticipation rose. The spectators had their favorites and were ready to cheer them on. When the gates sprang open, no one blinked not wanting to miss anything. The horses lunged forward with the jockeys eyeing every tactical positions to move past their competition.

Following the running of the ABC 2016 Spring Crown Cup, the celebrating began with a Masquerade Ball.
It was a long and arduos season and everyone was ready to cut loose and relax. Dancing and trading racing stories were buzzing around the venue. The ABC Community knows how to have a good time.
DJ Mavirvk Wingtips was on hand to keep everyone moving. No request was left unplayed and at the end of the evening they were begging for more time to dance and bask in the euphoria of the Spring Crown Cup. DJ Mavirvk was as charming as ever… he did not miss a beat and kept the music spinning.
It was a grand night of socializing with the ABC Community, family, friends and racing aficionados.
The finale is summed up with one last thought… time to focus on the ABC 2016 SUMMER Crown Cup Season!
