It was a magnificent day at the ABC Track. The weather and track conditions were superb for the running of the 2016 Crown Cup!
This was also a milestone for ABC Racing Program as it was the first running of the Pony Crown Cup Cart QL6.

The owners, jockey’s, and breeders were elated when the addition of ABC Pony Crown Cups were added. Many of the well known stables jumped right into it and there are several new stables have jumped into the racing of these adorable ponies. The race did not disappoint with the quickness and record times. Pony racing is becoming very popular with the racing crowd. The future of ABC Pony Crown Cups is looking very bright. The right combination was key to winning this first ever Pony Crown Cup. The planning has already begun for the next pony crown cup.
The tried and true tradition of ABC Horse Crown Cup had a stellar race. The veterans and rookies were represented on the field. The preparation for this event started the moment the last crown cup ran. The owners and breeders have been planning their strategies on the perfect horse and the jockey that would bring the horse across the finish line. It was a fast track with conditions promising a fast race. With track conditions this good there was a great deal of discussion on who would take the most risks and push their horses. It was a fantastic race and another historic event for the ABC Racing Program.
