Perfect theme for the ABC 2016 Fall Crown Cup After Party. The spectators, owners, jockeys, and ABC Team was able to come together and celebrate the qualifiers, winners, and a season of passionate hard work and the love of all things racing.
Wonder Women, the Queen of Hearts and many other characters graced the halls of the library and fell in time with the beat of the music.
DJ Wingtips was able to keep the music coming and dance the night away as the powerful Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo with his partner Khalesi.
As the Lady of Shalott was consumed by the music, more characters found their way out of the pages of the library books.
Smiling, dancing and chatting were the main focus. Recalling previous races and their tails of collisions and victories. Previous winners congratulating the newly crowned winners.
Everyone talked about their choice of characters and what inspired them to choose that specific fictional character The tales were as enticing as the pages of the books that they spawned from.
Stephanie Merrienboer, ABC Co-Owner danced the night away along with her fellow Aybeeseeurs! ABC Racing Program is one of the premier events that ABC has for their breedable.
The program has many different types of races… from flat races… to steeplechase… to sulky races. The races started out with horse racing but in 2016 added pony races. This has expanded the program exponentially and has opened many more avenues for participation by the ABC Community.
With reluctance the fictional characters made their way back to the pages of the books that they came from. Leaving only the echo of laughter, storytelling and revelry in the library halls. Longing to be set free for another jubilation and freedom.
