ABC Q&A REGARDING CLICKING ON HORSES – RACES ARE ON TODAY

RE: Impeding horses by right clicking on them

It was brought to ABC attention that the horses could be stopped by right clicking on a horse.

In light of this we canceled the races in the best interest of the horse owners, jockeys and to protect the integrity of the ABC Race Program.

We contacted Linden Labs to review the issue. We have also taken steps do our own testing.

The only ones that can impact a horse movement is someone that has Estates Rights on the SIM you are on or someone that has your “Edit” rights. The jockeys need to be very careful who they give their “Edit’ rights to as ABC cannot manage your individual choices. You need to make sure those with your rights know not to click on the horses during the race.

After speaking with Linden Labs and running our own tests, we called a Q&A to explain the above and to make sure that the races were not affected.

The Races are back on! They may be delayed just a bit to make sure everyone has the opportunity to check in and get squared away with the entry payment vendors. The Racing Authority is putting out further information on paying entry fee’s and/or cancellations so please follow those instructions.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance.
